Great product
Great product overall, wish there was a better tab (tabs.. or another way) at the bottom to anchor it.

Great size and fits well
Great size and fits well. Looks sharp! We had to turn it a little to accommodate getting it around the propane faucet hook-up. But, it manuevered well down into place. We use a elastic cord to fasten it underneath to the trailer tongue.

Love this cover
Installed without issue. Used a bungee to keep it attached to the camper frame. After reading the other reviews about the access cover coming off during driving I drilled two holes at each hinge. One on the cover and one on the lid of each hinge. Then ran a wire tie through each hole and tightened a bit. Not going any place now. Yes this is thin but would not want a thick heavy cover to add any tong weight. Love this cover.

Perfect Single Tank Cover
This cover is by far the best thing out there for a single tank replacement. Our family has a Forest River R-Pod, so your application may differ. The LP regulator on ours was placed on a piece of sheet steel that was in the way, so using my grinder with a cut of disc cut the steel down below the bottom of the tank. Then remounted it on that same piece of steel all the way at the bottom, no new hoses were needed as everything reached. I drilled four holes on the cover so as to zip tie it to the frame for added security. That maybe a problem for someone who goes through a lot of propane, but I only go through a tank a year. When they make these the halves are identical, so on one of them you will have a small hole on the side. I found an plastic plug in my junk bucket, drilled the hole to size and clipped it in.

I was able to make it work beautifully in 10-15 min
Well made single tank cover. As expected you have to make slight modifications but nothing the typical novice can't handle. I was able to make it work beautifully in 10-15 min. Very pleased with the thickness of the plastic and hardware included. A must have to protect your tank while driving (stones) and from weather.

a longer-term solution to protecting my spare tank from sun and rain
I wanted white (to match the walls of our house) cover for the spare propane tank we keep outside near the grill. I've used vinyl covers in the past, but they disintegrate in about 2 years, so I thought I'd give this a try. It's heavy-duty (as the title says) and goes together very easily. I just got it so I can't say how long it will last, but it should be at least twice as long as the vinyl covers, which will make it a win both in price and convenience (and I expect it to last much longer than that). There are tabs on the bottom to keep it in place on an RV, which I cut off so it sits flat on the ground, but otherwise I used it as it came out of the box. It's easy to get on and off but it should stay put even in a strong wind (again, too soon to be sure). One note: whoever attached the lid and back of screws to the inside of the cover went a little nuts with the hot glue, but warming it slightly with a heat gun made it easy to scrape off (I figured it was good to get it off to keep the cover from sticking to the tank in the summer).

Great way to fancy up the exterior of your trailer
Great way to fancy up the exterior of your trailer. I used a hole saw to drill a hole that my short pigtail can fit through. Otherwise you will need to buy a longer one that goes out the bottom and back up.

Does well
Some said they had issues with the lid not staying closed so when I installed it I placed then hing side forward. I have been very pleased with the performance. Did not take long to install.

Sure looks great compared to old vinyl cover!
Installed on rPod RP-177 (2010). Had to drill holes and use cable ties to secure it. Used to use my back-up camera while going down the road to make sure original vinyl cover was still on. Like others, decided to face it backwards so the lid would be blowing it shut if it wasn’t closed tightly. Recently replaced gas line from regulator to tank with one that is long enough it reached under the cover instead of having to drill a hole to go through.
